Wonderful Crinoid Multiple, Mississippian, Corey's Bluff, Crawfordsville Indiana

Description

Offered here is a wonderfully prepped crinoid multiple from the Mississippian of Crawfordsville Indiana.The large calyx is Onychoercrinus ulrichi, measuring 2.25 x 2 and has upper arms free standing. Crinoid 2 is Histocrinus graphicus, measuring in at .75 inches. The third specimen is Pachylocrinus sp., measuring in at one inch. To the right is a an amazing 2.5 inch crinoid stem with walking legs. On the extreme right is the stem of Camptocrinus myelodaetylus prepped in its coiled posture and measuring 1.5 inches if outstretched. All of these crinoids reside on a 7.5 x 3.5 x.75 inch slab of ancient Mississippian seabed. From the Doris Jones Collection.
