    UBER RARE DOUBLE Rochester Shale Caryocrinites Cystoid Crinoid Trilobite Age.
    You are bidding on the gorgeous & let’s face it, rare, DOUBLE cystoid pictured. The taller of the two specimens rises nearly 6” on the matrix and features a few of the rarely preserved feeding arms. Both specimens have their complete fragile stems terminating into the complete holdfast at the bottom of the matrix. There are NO other double cystoids for sale presently any where on the web, and only 1 decent single w asking price of 0. This beautiful specimen was collected from the Rochester shale of the Caleb quarry near Lockport , NY in the 1990’s. Thanks again for considering adding this great fossil to your collection .
