Good Plate Fossil Crinoids, Crawfordsville, Indiana

Here’s a nice plate with four fossils, including three different crinoids. From left to right on the main picture, we have a Macrocrinus mundulus, a Cyathocrinites iowensis, a Scytalocrinus decadactylus, and a second Macrocrinus mundulus. All four of the fossils are in good condition. Nice, too, are the lengths of stem and the pinnules on the second Macrocrinus. Even the preparer, who has seen thousands of these crinoids, must have enjoyed the pinnules on this one’s arms. The fossils enjoy a very solid matrix slab measuring approximately 5 3/8” x 5” x 3/4” and weighs 1 lb., 9.3 ounces. Free US shipping only.
