Hello!
Today I'm offering up a nice Pentaramicrinus altonensis from the Bangor Formation of Franklin County, Alabama. This crinoid boasts great preservation with only the tips of the arms missing. The calyx plates are clearly visible and the cuneate arms that distinguish this crinoid from Phanocrinus are also readily apparent.
