    Macrocrinus mundulus:
    Mississippian
    Edwardsville Fm.
    Crawfordsville, Indiana. Size: 1 3/8” (34 mm) in length.
    Excellent life-like preservation and aesthetics of this species.
    It is fully inflated, and 3D. This specimen is part of a historic
    collection I recently acquired of over 100 Crawfordsville crinoids.
    I obtained 20. The collector was a well-respected paleontologist
    and writer. He assembled this collection between 1978-82.
    Included with the specimens was a sheath of documents
    including an appraisal from the Black Hills Institute dated 1982.
