    Description

Offered here is an uncommon Lyriocrinus melissa crinoid cup from the Waldron Shale Formation from Shelby County, Indiana, Silurian in age. The crinoid cup measures 1 1/2” wode and has stunning detail. The Crinoid cup has been cleaned free of matrix. This crinoid and other fossils are getting harder to find due to collecting localities banning fossil hunting or only allowing field trips a few times a year. This piece was found 10 years ago and just recently prepared. If you have purchased multiple items, please do not send payment until I send an invoice.
