Crinoid-Beautifully Prepared Waldron Eucalyptocrinites elrodi-Trilobite Fossil

Offered here is an uncommon and beautifully prepared Eucalyptocrinites elrodi crinoid cup from the Waldron Shale Formation from Shelby County, Indiana, Silurian in age. The crinoid cup measures 1 3/8” wide and has outstanding detail. The matrix measures about 4 3/4” x 3”. Just look at the individual pustules on that crinoid. Took forever to prepare. These crinoids are getting harder to find due to collecting localities banning fossil hunting or only allowing field trips a few times a year. There is some slight damage on the crown. This piece was found 12 years ago and just recently prepared. If you have purchased multiple items, please do not send payment until I send an invoice.
