This Listing is for an American Flyer PreWar Standard Gauge #2043 Train Control Semaphore and #450 Track Clip
#2043 Train Control Semaphore (1930-1939) with die-cast control box on stamped metal platform; die-cast finial with stamped metal light housing and arm; and, stamped metal ladder.
Arm has 2 colored lenses.
Metal platform has two pull-out spring assist track clips which move in and out still have original springs attached
Accessory ‘not’ tested. I have no way of testing
Semaphore's control box 'casting' is in Excellent shape, including pole entry area.
No Cracks or Breaks just some paint chipping
(Note: Many of these vintage units have heavy cracked and crumbling castings)
Finial is also in Great Shape with no Cracks
Signal Arm Has some Surface Rust Both Colored Lens In Good Shape
The Ladder is pretty straight and has no cracks or broken rungs
Included is American Flyer #450 Track clip Has original Patent date of 1-10-1922 stamped in it
